Serbian Ministry of Education & the Center for Trafficking Victims Protection

We partnered with the Serbian Ministry of Education and the Center for Trafficking Victims Protection to develop a prevention education program that prevents and protects students from Human Trafficking. Together we developed the resources, trained educators, and implemented the program in public schools and child shelters across the country.

Serbian Ministry of Education & the Center for Trafficking Victims Protection

Following the adoption of the Regulation on the network of social protection ("Official Gazette" 16/2012 from March 7, 2012.), the Government of the Republic of Serbia has set up the Center for Human Trafficking Victims Protection in Belgrade, on April 13, 2012.

The Centre for Human Traficking Victims Protection was established as an institution of social protection and it conducts assessment of the situation, needs, strengths and risks of trafficking victims, does the job of identification and provides an adequate assistance and support to the victims of trafficking for the purpose of their rehabilitation and reintegration.

In that sense, the Center coordinates the activities of providing social services to the victims of human trafficking, cooperates with centers for social care, institutions for the accommodation of beneficiaries, other agencies, departments and organizations, with the aim of providing the best interests and safety of the victimsof trafficking.

OSCE Mission to Skopje

In 2017, we partnered with the OSCE Macedonia and La Strada (North Macedonia) in order to have our prevention education program implemented in primary and secondary schools in Northern Macedonia.

The OSCE has a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects. It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities. All 57 participating States enjoy equal status, and decisions are taken by consensus on a politically, but not legally binding basis.

La strada North Macedonia

La Strada International is the network of all La Strada members, represented by an international secretariat with the same name. The secretariat, based in Amsterdam, focuses on international networking, lobbying and public relations on behalf of the member organisations, producing common policies and action plans and harmonised lobby and advocacy programmes. The secretariat maintains and expands the relations of the La Strada network with national and international organisations, national governments, European institutions and UN bodies.

Novi Put

In June 2018, we partnered with Novi Put from Bosnia and Herzegovina in an effort to explore the implementation of our prevention education program in the public-school system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Red Cross Serbia

Since 2017, we have partnered with Red Cross Serbia in several awareness initiatives. Through the Red Cross Peer Education Program, we have organized a number of workshops:

  1. Through the Red Cross Peer Education Program, we have organized large number of workshops reaching over 7.000 children.
  2. We have worked together in several public events in order to raise awareness among general public. (Music and Film Festivals and other key events).
  3. We partnered with the Red Cross and the Serbian Basketball Federation to raise awareness among young athletes as well as coaches. We developed resources for coaches and participated in an annual European mini basketball tournament in Belgrade. By organizing workshops and awareness activities for the young athletes, we have reached more than 3500 children age 5-12 years old.

RTS Radio Television of Serbia

RTS Radio Television of Serbia is the public broadcaster in Serbia. It broadcasts and produces news, drama, and sports programming through radio, television and the Internet. RTS is a member of the European Broadcasting Union.

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia is the ministry in the Government of Serbia which is in the charge of trade, tourism and telecommunications


Working with Wikipedia and the Red Cross, we launched Using Knowledge to Fight Human Trafficking, an ongoing awareness project targeting university students. It aims to inspire future professionals, academics, and decision makers to participate in combating human trafficking through awareness building, academic writing, and knowledge sharing.
